2021 Sale Cancelled
With regrets, we announce the cancellation of the 2021 Mid-Atlantic Morgan Horse auction. The PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg is a state building, and due to COVID-19 all scheduled 2020 events from March 19th through the end of November have been cancelled. No decision will be made on the December 2020 and January 2021 events until after the election, which does not leave us adequate time to plan the sale and produce a catalog.
A lot of thought and consideration was put into other locations. With all the other horse auctions to work around, we could not come up with a facility and dates we felt would give us a quality auction that we felt the Morgan breed deserves. We feel that in the best interests of the group, we would cancel the 2021 sale and move forward in planning for 2022.
What a year 2020 is turning out to be! This is one we will all remember for many years. The pandemic will be the most talked about and written about happening during 2020 and perhaps for years to come. We would like to thank you all for your support of the Mid-Atlantic Morgan Horse Sale these past 17 years. There have been many fun times, friendships and great memories created, which would not have been possible without YOU.
We hope to see all of you at our 2022 sale in Harrisburg on January 18-19th!
From the sale committee,
David Glick – 717-442-9680 and John David Fisher 717-293-5788

2020 Sale Results
Our 17th Annual Mid-Atlantic Morgan Horse Sale held on January 14-15, 2020 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA enjoyed warm weather and a great turnout for this popular sale. We welcomed 25 stallions to our presentation, and we enjoyed presenting 105 registered Morgan horses to prospective buyers, selling a total of 94 horses for an average of $6,327.27 per head, an increase of 14% over last year’s average of $5,482.14 per head.
This year’s top two sale toppers were consigned and presented by Amos Yoder Jr.. A powerful and bold black 4YO stallion, WVS Full Throttle (Ledgefield Potenza x NSM Midnight Lace, by Hollybrook Stage Rage), put on a whale of a horse show and commanded a top bid of $37,500 as Lot 54.
Lot 33 came in at $22,500, WVS Call Me A Star (Booyah x WVS Jane’s Imortal Bell, by KJM Soul Commander) looked more like a show horse and less like a mother to be, but was carrying an April 2020 foal by Ledgefield Intrigue. Black and just five years old, she should be providing years of great service and wonderful foals for her new owner.
Sangre Farms sent a lovely black 5YO mare to the sale with Premier Equine as their agent. Lot 38, EY Angel (Lacyn Time x Reflexion Baby, by Derawnda Reflection), was quite fancy in harness and as a bonus, she’s carrying a 2020 foal sired by RWF Dralion (by Dragonsmeade Icon). Angel commanded a respectable $16,000 high bid.
Another beautiful black mare consigned by Allen Yoder as Lot 14, Princess Sheila (KJM Soul Commander x Equinox Magnifikate, by Courage Of Equinox), also in foal to RWF Dralion and just an 8YO, found a new owner after the gavel fell at $15,500.
Amos Yoder Jr. rounded out our top five selling horses with Lot 83, Walnut Lane Lorain (UVM Jovial x Lookaway’s Black Light, by HVK Guiding Light), a 6YO black mare in foal to Ledgefield Intrigue. Selling for $15,000, she was a curvy and flashy offering with a pair of white socks behind to catch everyone’s attention.
The Mid-Atlantic Morgan Sale invites you to join us on January 12-13, 2021 for our 18th Annual Sale. Consignments will close on November 1, 2020.

Our next highest selling horse at $12,750 was the nice black four-year-old mare LAH Lucy Lou (Nordby Misty’s Sir Harley x LAH Foxy Lady), in foal to MDMH Turbo’s Stetson. Consigned by Freeman Gingerich and presented by Riverside Equine.
Ashley seemed to be a popular name as Triple Pine Ashley (WVS Ladys On Star x Triple Pines Starlet), a lovely five-year-old black mare in foal to HTLD Winning Ticket brought $10,750 when the gavel fell for consignor Lamar Miller and his agent, Michael Miller.
Al Davison’s Canadian breeding program is known for their well trained and presented stock and his Derawnda Dutches (Derawnda Black Pepper x Harmony Acres Ebony Rose), a big, good trotting black mare in foal to a 16h black stallion brought a nice $10,000 sale home for Al and his agent, Harley Yoder.
